Which AI subscription is the best value?
It depends on what you're optimizing for. For general chat and writing at $20/month, Claude Pro includes the flagship Opus 4.7 reasoning model and Claude Code for developers. ChatGPT Plus offers broader tooling (Sora video, DALL-E, Advanced Voice, custom GPTs). Google AI Pro throws in 2TB storage and deep Gmail/Docs integration for roughly the same price. Is ChatGPT Pro ($200) worth it over Plus ($20)?
Only if you consistently hit Plus's usage caps or need the Pro reasoning mode (o3-pro), unlimited Sora video, or the Operator agent. For most users, Plus handles 95% of use cases.
What's the difference between Claude Max 5x and 20x?
Both give you flagship Opus 4.7 access. The 5x plan ($100/mo) gives roughly five times the Pro plan's usage allowance; the 20x plan ($200/mo) gives twenty times. If you use Claude Code for hours every day, 20x is the rate you want.
