AI Pricing Guru is an independent pricing comparison and analysis platform. This policy explains how we collect data, produce content, and maintain editorial standards.

Data Sources

All pricing data is collected directly from official provider sources: API pricing pages, developer documentation, and public announcements. We do not rely on third-party aggregators for primary pricing data. Our current sources include:

  • OpenAI API pricing page and model documentation
  • Anthropic Claude API pricing and model cards
  • Google AI Studio and Vertex AI pricing
  • DeepSeek API documentation
  • Mistral AI La Plateforme pricing
  • xAI Grok API pricing
  • Meta Llama pricing via hosting providers (Groq, Together AI, Fireworks, etc.)
  • Cohere, Perplexity, and other provider documentation

Update Cadence

Pricing data is checked and updated daily. When a provider announces a price change, we aim to reflect it within 24 hours. Our pricing API (/api/pricing.json) includes a lastUpdated timestamp so consumers can verify data freshness.

AI Assistance Disclosure

Some content on this site is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by editors. AI tools help with initial research, data formatting, and draft generation. All published content is reviewed for accuracy against our pricing database before going live. AI-generated claims are verified against primary sources.

Corrections Policy

We take accuracy seriously. If you spot an error in our pricing data, analysis, or articles:

  • Email us at aust@aumedia.sk with the specific error and correct information
  • We will investigate and correct verified errors within 24 hours
  • Corrected articles will be marked with an update note and revised date

Funding Model

AI Pricing Guru is funded through:

  • Affiliate commissions — Some links to AI providers are affiliate links. When you sign up through these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the HTML.
  • Display advertising — Standard display ads may appear on the site (planned).
  • Featured directory listings — Providers can pay for enhanced visibility in our directory (planned).

Editorial Independence

Affiliate partnerships, advertising, and directory listings never influence our pricing data, rankings, or editorial recommendations. Our pricing database pulls from the same official sources regardless of commercial relationships. Comparison articles and "best of" guides are based on objective pricing data and publicly available benchmarks — not on which providers pay us commissions.
