flow-1 Signals analysis rates

Per million analysis tokens: $0.05 input · $0.01 cached input · $0.3 output. These are the Signals agent’s analysis tokens, not your monitored agent’s tokens. Paid cloud base and data fees are separate.

Estimate Signals analysis usage

Use billed analysis tokens; do not paste the original trace token total. Uncached and cached input are separate, non-overlapping buckets.

Analysis usage: $0.0800

Excludes cloud plan, data overage, taxes, underlying agent calls and one-time credit. Not a cost-per-trace prediction.

Data access: Free 7 days · Starter 30 days · Pro 6 months. Free: one project and one seat; paid: unlimited projects and seats.

Cloud or self-hosted?

Laminar’s official launch describes the observability platform as Apache 2.0 and self-hostable. Its repository provides Docker Compose setup, tracing, evaluations, datasets, SQL, dashboards and integrations. Free software does not make hosting, databases, storage, backups, operations or configured LLM calls free. Open-source platform availability does not establish that flow-1 weights are downloadable or that managed Signals is included in every self-hosted setup.

What counts toward a Signals bill?

Signals investigates traces using a prompt and JSON schema. It can search across spans and retrieve evidence before returning findings. Bill the analysis agent’s actual token categories and retrieval steps, not the size of the original monitored trace. One-time credit is not a recurring monthly allowance. The official calculator uses median workload estimates; compression means storage is not proportional to trace tokens.

Availability and Labs blocker

No authorized Laminar Signals test project or pinned Signals harness, trace dataset and grading rubric. No public standalone inference endpoint or downloadable flow-1 weights verified. A fair replay needs representative traces, identical prompts and schemas, raw findings, repeat runs, independent detection and explanation grading, false-positive rates, latency and the complete cloud, analysis and underlying-agent cost ledger. Laminar’s 523-trace benchmark and 23× claim are vendor-reported, not a Labs score.

Read the flow-1 launch analysis, Labs coverage decision, general model API prices and pricing verification methodology. The canonical pricing feed lists flow-1 separately under traceAnalysisModels, not as a general chat endpoint.

Frequently asked questions

Is Laminar free?

Laminar has a limited free cloud plan and self-hostable open-source software. The pricing card says No Signals on Free, while the Signals guide describes a one-time workspace credit usable on Free. Confirm this conflicting entitlement before relying on it; self-hosting still incurs infrastructure and model usage.

Does flow-1 bill the tokens in my original trace?

No. Signals bills its own analysis-agent input, cached-input and output tokens, including investigation steps. A trace token total is not a Signals bill.

Can I call flow-1 as a normal chat API?

The verified public route is through Laminar Signals. No standalone inference endpoint or downloadable flow-1 weights were verified.

Has AI Pricing Guru benchmarked flow-1?

No. Authorized project access, a pinned Signals harness, matched traces and full billing evidence are required before an independent Labs result.
