Usage limits in full
- GitHub Copilot Enterprise
- 3,900 base AI credits per granted seat per month; 3,900 total. One AI credit equals $0.01 USD; credit cost varies by model and task. Credits are pooled organization-wide; admins control models, budgets and paid overage. Code completions and next edit suggestions remain unlimited and do not consume credits. Current model list is a verified subset of the official plan matrices, not an exhaustive list; feature and administrator restrictions apply. Requires GitHub Enterprise Cloud; GitHub Enterprise Server is not supported. Fable model data is retained for safety classification by default; any time-limited enterprise ZDR exemption requires approval and model enablement. No annual price or discount is established by these current sources.
- ChatGPT Business
- Standard seats include ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex. The current official Business seat documentation does not enumerate individual model SKUs. Workspace credits can extend included usage; API billing is separate. At least 2 Standard or Premium seats total, including a mix. Seat additions are prorated immediately; reductions take effect at renewal. Workspaces created on or after August 24, 2026 are capped at 200 paid Standard and Premium seats combined, including unassigned seats; older workspaces retain their previous limit.
